The founder of One Love Family movement, based in Ibadan, Satguru Maharaj ji has commended South East Governors for creating Ebube-Agu, a regional security outfit,saying they have taking proactive measures against ravaging criminal activities in the region.
Maharajji gave the commendation on Saturday during a news conference marking the 34th anniversary of founding the Maharaj ji Village in Ibadan, Oyo State.
He said that the governors had broken the yoke of self-inflicted confusion and indecision that held them and prevented them from taking counter-measures against kidnapping, robbery, banditry, terrorism, among other ills ravaging the region.
“I wish to remind the governors that Ebube-Agu outfit should be seen in words and deeds as true reflection of its name.
” Ebube-Agu as, a security out should be an enviable security brand whose vibration should rekindle hope and confidence in the hearts of the people, just the same way the lion does as the king of the jungle,” he said.
Maharaj ji said that there was the need for all the stakeholders in the region to come together to synergies and work for a common purpose in order to achieve desired result.
He said that the day-to-day operational machinery of both Amotekun and Ebube-Agu regional security outfits should not be bogged down with bureaucratic red-tapism.
” It is the people’s own security network and should be therefore be launched in all Villages, Schools, colleges and universities in their respective zones of operation,” Maharajji said.
He called on Nigerians to be conscious and report all kind of security threats to the authorities for action and must not watch any person or bandits destroy their lives and Nigeria.
