Rampaging youths on Monday morning set the palace of Igwe Ifitedunu of Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State on fire.
The hoodlums were said to have stormed the Igwe palace wielding guns before razing down the palace.
Current matters gathered from a source in the area who preferred to be unnamed that communal differences were responsible for the attack on the palace of the Igwe.
According to the source, the arsonists who took part in the attack are not outsiders. They are well known in the community.
The Member representing Njikoka/ Annocha/ Dunukofia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Abuja,Rep Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo when contacted confirmed the incident .
