Iran has issued arrest warrant to US President,DonaldTrump over drone strikes that killed a top lranian general, Quasem Soleimani.
Reports say that Trump is one of the 35 persons lran has issued arrest warrants in retaliation to the killing of the general.
Soleimani was Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps.
Iran had accused the Trump administration in the wake of Soleimani’s death and had in January 2020,in a military operation code-named, Operation Martyr Soleimani, launched numerous ballistic missiles at the Ayn-al-Alsad,airbase in Al Anbar Governorate, Western lraq.as well as another airbase in Erbil, Kurdistan Region.
The US Department of Defence had said the missiles launched by Iran caused traumatic brain injuries to 110 service members.
